Materials:
- Cotton Yarn, I used Paton Grace Blue and Yarnart for this project
- Size B/3 (2.25 mm) crochet hook for Yarnart yarn
- Size C/2 (2.75mm) crochet hook for Paton yarn
- Flower stem wire
- Green Floral tape
- 3mm bead
Abbreviations (US Terms):
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st(s) – stitch(es)
Instructions:
Start with magic ring
Round 1: ch 1, sc into ring, ch 2, sc into ring, repeat 2 more times, sl into 1st sc st.
Round 2: Ch 3, 2 dc into ch2 space, ch 2, 2 dc into ch2 space again, sl into next sc st. This counts as 1st petal.
Repeat 3 more times of previous step for remaining petals. sl into 1st sc again, fasten off.
Method 2:
Start with magic ring.
Round 1: Ch 2, hdc *11 times, sl into 2nd ch of 1st ch 2.
Round 2: Ch 3, 1dc, 1 tc into 2nd st
1 tc, 1 dc into 3 st, ch 3, sl into 4th st to form 1st petal
Repeat 3 more times for remaining petals, sl into 1st ch of round 1.
I used 2.75 mm for paton yarn, red and blue, and 2.0 mm hook for Yarnart yarn, see the difference below, which may help you decide which yarn you would love to hook, OK, good night, my friends.
